CONQUEST Complete Work On New EP

April 15, 2005

St. Louis, Missouri-based metallers CONQUEST have completed work on their first release in three years, entitled "First Blood". The four-song EP, due on May 3, features two tracks that begin a conceptual biblical story of truth and fiction that intertwines tales of the beginning of civilization and the arrival of a modern-day vampire. The fable progresses into CONQUEST's next full length CD, "End of Days", scheduled for release October 2005. Production has already begun on the accompanying music video "Evil x2". Commented guitarist/lead vocalist Derrick Brumley, "The story is about the first vampire to walk the earth, we wrapped fiction and history around each other and I think these songs turned out really cool and dark!" Brumley added, "the EP is much heavier than our last release, 'No Boundaries'."

"First Blood" track listing:

01. Evil x2
02. Devil's Playground
03. Hate to Want You
04. Rage
